Planted twenty years ago on Baw Baw Shire's red volcanic soils and dry-grown since establishment, the site consistently produces wines with bright acidity, texture and length. The volcanic soils and cool climate bring both flavour and tension to the wine.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThe 2025 season began cool and wet before an early flowering led to a warmer, earlier harvest. Handpicked on 1 March, the fruit was gently whole-bunch pressed and settled overnight before wild fermentation. The wine matured on lees in French oak for eleven months, including one new light-toast barrique (20%), before a further two months in stainless steel prior to bottling.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThe palate is layered and textured with precise acidity.
